VISION

Ask Wonder Explore is a microschool and camp where Explorers use STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math), collaboration, and activism to challenge inequities and create a better future. Through hands-on learning, we empower young minds to innovate, advocate, and lead change.

At AWE, your child will be an Engineer, a Scientist, an Explorer, a Designer, an Artist, and come out with a true desire to understand the world that they live in.
The exposure that they will gain will open up their minds to their own curiosity and becoming a lifelong learner of STEAM!

MISSION

At Ask Wonder Explore, we provide a transformative STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) education through our microschool and camp, equipping learners with the skills, confidence, and critical thinking needed to innovate and advocate for a more just and equitable world. We cultivate a dynamic environment where taking risks, making mistakes, and pushing boundaries are encouraged. Through project-based learning, real-world problem-solving, and a deep commitment to social justice, we ensure that every Explorer—regardless of background—has access to the tools, resources, and support needed to thrive in STEAM and beyond.

At Ask Wonder Explore, we connect with our community through STEAM, empowering Explorers to advocate for change and address inequities in our city. Through hands-on STEAM experiences, students develop social-emotional skills, curiosity, and critical thinking. We foster a safe, supportive space where youth feel confident taking risks, making mistakes, and innovating. By embracing creativity and problem-solving, our Explorers become the next generation of STEAM leaders and changemakers.

AWE STEM Programs are for Ages 4-14

Camps are from 8:30am-3:00pm
Morning care starts at 7:30am
After Care ends at 5:00pm

Microschool is for students in grades K-8
All subjects taught
School day is M-F 8:30am-3:00pm
No morning and aftercare

Homeschool classes are for Ages 4-12
Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30am-11:45pm
